MSM Milling operates a HACCP and GMP Food Safety Management System, which is independently certified by BSI. Continuous improvement and adherence to this certified food safety management system ensures that MSM Milling operates under world best practice.
MSM Milling has also gained independent accreditation with all customers who run their own audit programs. MSM Milling products are also HALAL and Kosher approved.
All auzure and MSM Milling branded oil is produced in compliance with the Non-GMO Project Standard. The Australian Government's Department of Agriculture and Water Resources has registered MSM Milling as an Export Registered Establishment.
MSM Milling's auzure Canola, Vegetable, Omega 9, RBD Canola and High-Oleic Oils, as well as MSM Milling's Expeller Pressed Canola Meal, are Certified Palm Oil Free by the Palm Oil Free Certification Accreditation Programme (POFCAP).

What is a Genetically Modified Organism?
The Non-GMO Project classifies a Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) as:
"A plant, animal, microorganism or other organism whose genetic makeup has been modified in a laboratory using genetic engineering or transgenic technology. This creates combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and virus genes that do not occur in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods. Genetic modification affects many of the products we consume on a daily basis."
GMO herbicide-tolerant canola has been commercially grown in NSW and Victoria since 2008. It is becoming increasingly difficult for consumers to tell if the products they choose to buy and eat have been genetically modified. MSM Milling believes in truth in labelling and that consumers have the right to know the origins of their food.

MSM Milling has received numerous business excellence awards including The 2009 Premiers NSW Regional Exporter Award and The 2011 Premiers NSW Exporter to Asia Award. MSM Milling was a finalist in the 2016 AustCham Westpac Australia-China Business Awards in the categories of Business Excellence in Agriculture, Food and Beverage as well as Sustainability and Social Impact.
MSM Milling was also a national finalist at the 47th Australian Export Awards in 2009 and a state finalist at the NSW Export Awards in 2017. MSM Milling was Highly Commended in the Agribusiness, Food and Beverages category of the 2019 NSW Premier's Export Awards.
MSM Milling's auzure Canola Oil won a Sydney Royal Fine Food Show Silver Medal in 2019. Judges noted auzure boasted "a clean finish on the palate." More than 1,900 exhibits were judged across nine sections of the Show.
